BSMI is Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, China. According to the announcement of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, China, from 1 July 2005, products entering Taiwan, China, are subject to regulation in both electromagnetic compatibility and safety regulations. Energy efficiency testing is also under BSMI control and is not a separate part of certification.
