The Vietnam CR Mark certification is a safety certification controlled by the Vietnamese Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ), which implemented the Product Certification system in 1996. The regulations stipulate that all electrical and electronic products within the scope of the CR Mark certification must pass product testing and factory inspection to obtain the CR Mark certificate, and affix the CR mark before they can be sold in the Vietnamese market, and some products still have energy efficiency requirements.
