Jordan energy efficiency certification is a compulsory certification issued and implemented by the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization (JSMO).  From January 1, 2014, all products under control must pass product testing to obtain energy efficiency certificates and be labeled with energy efficiency before they can be sold in the Jordanian market. Under the agreement between Jordan and the EU, Jordan can accept energy consumption labels that comply with EU regulations, and products with EU energy efficiency labels will not need to be affixed with additional Jordanian energy efficiency labels.
