Refrigerator Freshness Certification

Refrigerator Freshness Certification is a certification service launched by CHEARI (Beijing) Certification & Testing Co., ltd.in 2016, which has attracted the attention of refrigerator and freezer companies. With the increasing improvement of people's living standards, the requirements for refrigerators are not limited to space and cooling, and thus fresh-keeping refrigerators have emerged. Through testing and evaluation, we can help consumers choose refrigerators that meet their needs.

The evaluation methods are all based on the current national standards, and with further research on refrigerator freshness, more reasonable testing methods or more test items will be introduced to test and evaluate refrigerator freshness, and the scope of certification testing will be expanded to better and more scientifically demonstrate the fresh-keeping ability of refrigerators. The main evaluation indicators include six aspects: vegetable sensory, vegetable weight loss rate, condensate amount, vitamin C content, meat sensory, and thawing loss rate, to comprehensively evaluate the freshness of the refrigerator.

The implementation of the fresh-keeping certification for refrigerators has also attracted attention in other related industries, including chain operations and cold chain industries. Therefore, in 2018, we launched the "Save12.3" platform in cooperation with the Swedish Environmental Research Institute, the China Chain Store & Franchise Association, and with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the EU REFRESH project, and the Swedish Embassy, to conduct various workshops and activities for supermarkets, catering, and cold chain industries, promoting the fresh-keeping certification for refrigerators and gaining high attention from the commercial refrigeration industry.
