China Appliance Science and Technology Conference 2022 & Appliance Industry Core Components Exhibition (ASTC 2022), which hosted by China Household Electric Appliance Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as CHEARI), opened on March 16 in Hefei，Anhui Province. Vice president Liu Jiangyi of China National Light Industry Council (hereinafter referred to as CNLIC), deputy director Ke Wenbin of Economic and Information Department of Anhui Province, President Zhong Ming of Changhong Meiling Co., Ltd., vice president Qu Zongfeng of CHEARI, vice president Ge Fengliang of CHEARI, chief engineer Xu Hong of CHEARI attended the opening ceremony of conference. Wang Jun, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, delivered a video address to the conference. Wang Qi, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor of Sichuan University attended the opening ceremony and gave an academic report online. Ma Dejun, vice president of CHEARI, hosted the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech.

Over 500 representatives attended the conference despite the ASTC 2022 was delayed until 2023 caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. With their enthusiasm and initiative, the representatives explore new ideas, new methods and new paths for the household electric appliance industry together.

More than 60 industry experts and enterprise R&D pacemaker from different institutes and universities gathered at the conference, and nearly 100 academic reports and academic theses were presented. The conference was presented both online and offline. The online audiences

The conference lasted for two days, and a series of forums and symposiums will be organized on the themes of intelligence, green, health and safety.
